From a "technical" perspective, this is a good image. Simple, focused and lots of contrast. It has all of the elements that make a good image. Therefore, on the surface, it's a visually pleasing, though shallow, piece of art.
But there's a subtle undertone to this image that makes it anything but shallow. I could go on to say that it's insightful, cynical or whatever but won't as I'd rather the viewer interpret it without me adding my own colour.
There are a dozen different messages (literally) written into this image which you only get to appreciate once you've given it anything more than a cursory glance. And that's why I love this image; because of the duality of it.
Whether you think that it's pretty, insightful, cynical or whatever, there's something for everyone in this image and what you get out of it depends entirely on how deep you're willing to go and how much you're willing to think about it.
The beauty of the mysterious essence of "love" is captured within such a detailed, delicate piece. It's interesting how you used thin lines and flames to create the almost symmetrical shape of the heart.
I like how the flames die away, fading into the black background. However, the background need not be so big, though I do understand that this was intended to be a wallpaper. An advantage about this, though, is that it gives the idea that, perhaps, love is not easy to find (given the small size of the heart within such an expanse of blackness).
I'm not sure the word "love" in the centre is necessary, but the lettering does suit it well.
A girl asked a guy if he thought she was pretty and he said no. She asked him if he would want to be with her forever and he said no. She then asked him if she were to leave would he cry, and ............once again he replied with a no. She had heard enough. As she walked... I NEED to be with you forever. And Iwouldn't cry if you walked away...I'd die... ♥♥ ~~THE END~~ ♥♥.......Isn't that sweet? Tonight at midnight your true love willrealize they like you. Overall, a beautiful piece.
